- Removing nail varnish
Soak a kitchen towel in nail varnish remover and dab it onto the stain – this will transfer the nail varnish to the kitchen towel. Keep doing this until the stain is gone, then wash the item with a stain remover.
- Banish fake tan
Don’t scrub the stain, but gently dab the fake tan with a mixture of warm water and washing up liquid, then wash as normal.
- Getting rid of make-up stains
Getting to the make-up stain early is the key. Before putting the item of clothing in the washing machine, try lifting the stain by soaking a piece of cotton wool with a stain remover and letting it soak in.
- Use a stain remover in every wash
Using a leading stain remover such as ACE in every wash will really help to remove stains, prevent fade and keep whites bright. Put the stain remover on both sides of the stain before putting the item of clothing into the washing machine.
